Programmer

At UpClick we want to work with people who bring enthusiasm and most of all a passion for the online space. We are looking for individuals who learn fast, bring something to the conversation and ask the right questions that help formulate the best solutions for our customers. We are looking for someone who has current experience developing Web-based database-driven systems using ASP, .NET and MS SQL Server technologies. 3 - 5 years of related, relevant and recent experience is preferred.

This is a Permanent position working in Montreal, Canada.

Qualified candidates should have:
  • Proficiency developing applications with Microsoft .NET
  • Ability to program to specifications with a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to document processes/procedures/applications
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment as a team player while meeting deadlines
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
Required skills:
  • Proficiency in .NET, C#, ASP, XML and Javascript
  • Experience with SQL Server, MySQL
Additional desired skills:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/related field preferred
  • Good communication and management skills

Customer Service Agents (Speaking Italian, Spanish, German, Japanese or Portuguese)

We are actively seeking full time bilingual customer service representatives (English & French) to join our vibrant team.

Compensation Package Includes:

Job Description:
  • Answer incoming phone calls and live chat requests
  • Assist with billing inquiries such as refunds, account upgrades and modifications
  • Answer basic technical questions about our software
  • Provide basic website navigation support
Skills/Qualifications Required:
  • 1-3 years experience in any sales or customer service role (e.g. retail, call centre)
  • Basic computer skills, must be familiar with Windows operating system
  • Good problem solving skills
  • We are seeking motivated individuals with the ability to work well both independently and collaboratively.
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently within a fast-paced environment
  • Should be creative, adaptive and goal-oriented
Location:

The position of Customer Service Representative is located in Montreal.

Start date: Immediately
Hourly Wage: $13.00/ hour (for speaking/writing Italian, Spanish, German, Japanese or Portuguese)
Time period: Permanent position
Full Time : Candidates must be able to commit to 32-40 hours per week.
